With two theme parks filled with unique attractions (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure), you could easily spend two days in each park exploring the nooks and crannies. Figure Out How You’ll Get There
If you’re somebody who is used to a hectic schedule, then it might make sense to just fly there. The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is only half an hour away. Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB) is a bit farther away. However, if you’d rather have a larger budget to spend on things at the convention, then consider driving. Not only can it be a great way to see the country in a way you’ve never seen it before, but you’ll likely also save a good deal of money along the way!
Finding the Right Place to Stay
Finding a place that is affordable and also close to the convention is very important if you want to make sure you don’t waste too much time traveling in Orlando. After all, the traffic in Florida can sometimes be intense, so you don’t want to get caught up in rush hour, right?
Group rate tickets to stay at the Aventura Hotel are currently sold out, but you may still be able to stay there at the normal rate. Doing so won’t save you any money, but you could still hang out with friends old and new that you make at the conference.
Because the convention is also on Universal property, you’ll be able to get to and from the event quickly while also being able to appreciate the wide variety of attractions and activities the area has to offer.
